株式会社ミスミグループ本社（本社：東京都千代田区、代表取締役社長：大野龍隆）が提供する機械部品調達のAIプラットフォーム「meviy（メビー）」は、4月15日より新たに板金溶接加工サービスを「長納期低価格サービス」の対象とし、長納期（20日目以降の出荷）の選択で、品質変わらず30％割引で提供します。今回のサービス追加により、溶接加工においても従来の高品質な部品をさらに低価格で提供、より多様なニーズにお応えできるようになりました。
今後もミスミはサービスの拡大を通して、IA（インダストリアル・オートメーション）産業のお客さまにグローバルで時間価値を提供、生産性の向上に貢献してまいります。
背景
meviyでは、お客さまの計画生産に合わせた様々なニーズにお応えするため、2022年7月より一部のサービスにおいて「長納期低価格サービス」を開始※1しています。今回、2023年11月のサービス開始※2以来多くご利用いただいている板金溶接加工サービスを追加します。
板金溶接加工サービス開始以降、多くのお客様より「溶接品は計画的に調達することが多く、比較的納期に余裕があるため、長納期低価格サービスに対応してほしい」という要望をいただいていました。今回、生産体制の改善、効率化により、納期に余裕がある製品をまとめて製造する体制を構築、製造のコストダウンを実現できたことで、溶接加工での長納期低価格サービスの提供が可能となりました。

Extends “Economy Shipping Service” to Sheet Metal Welding

As of April 15, 2024, meviy, an AI-based parts procurement platform powered by MISUMI Group Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan; Representative Director and President: Ryusei Ono), will extends its "Economy Shipping Service" available for sheet metal welding, offering a 30% discount with no change in quality to customers who choose a long lead time (shipping after 20 days from order). This service expansion at meviy enables us to meet more diverse needs by providing high-quality parts at even lower prices for sheet metal welding.
We will continue to provide time value to our global customers in the IA (Industrial Automation) industry through expanding our services and contribute to enhancing their productivity.
Background
To meet the various needs of customers for planned production, meviy has been offering the "Economy Shipping Service”*1 for some of its services since July 2022. Now, this option has been added to the sheet metal welding which has been a widely used service since its launch in November 2023*2.
Since the launch of the sheet metal welding service, we have received many customer requests for the Economy Shipping Service option, as welded parts are often procured on a planned basis with a relatively flexible lead time. This time, by improving and streamlining our production system, we have succeeded in establishing a system where products that are not in a rush for delivery can be manufactured in batches, thereby reducing manufacturing costs and finally making our Economy Shipping Service available in the sheet metal welding service.
